We first spotted the delightful Smiling Planet plates and bowls while looking for gorgeous environmentally sound practical children's tableware in TriBeCa. Smiling planet founder Olivia Haviland combines her 150-year family history of making fine porcelain with her husbands whimsical art and stories.
All smiling planet products are manufactured in the usa with safe, sustainable, recycled, and/or organic materials. The company's whimsical artwork reflects their earth-friendly ethos with a message of peace, diversity, and respect for the environment.
